Job Type: Temporary Assignment

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: 15.56 per hour

Hours: 37 hours per week

Monday to Thursday: 06:00 – 14:30

Friday: 06:00 – 11:00

The Role

As a member of the Commercial Waste Team, your responsibilities will include:

Operating a range of vehicles, including 26–tonne, 12–tonne and 7.5–tonne waste collection vehiclesCarrying out scheduled commercial and bulky waste collections across PlymouthProviding excellent customer service while maintaining high safety standardsSupporting collection crews with loading duties when requiredEnsuring routes are completed efficiently and in line with service requirementsRequirements:

A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licenceA valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph CardPrevious experience driving HGV vehiclesGood knowledge of Plymouth and the surrounding areasA positive and flexible approach to workStrong communication skills and a team–focused attitudeExcellent reliability and attendanceAdditional Information

All successful applicants must attend a mandatory induction and driving assessmentStart dates will be confirmed upon successful completion of the assessment processImmediate starts are available for suitable candidates
