HGV Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers - Alfreton (DE55)

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known and established general haulage business based in Alfreton. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (CAT C) Drivers to join the team.

Pay Rates:

Class 1 (C+E):

GBP15.40 per hour (PAYE)GBP17.26per hour (including rolled up holiday pay)Class 2 (CAT C):

GBP14.50 per hour (PAYE)GBP16.25 per hour (including rolled up holiday pay)Additional Payments:

GBP25 Night Out Allowance (applicable to all drivers completing nights out / tramping)Shift Patterns & Start Times:

Start times available from 03:00 onwardsDay work availableOptional nights out / tramping (completely flexible and driver choice)Full-time and part-time work availableWork planned around driver availability and personal circumstancesThe Role:

General haulage work across commercial and residential deliveriesOperating curtainsider vehiclesVehicles are pre-loaded on arrival to siteAssisting with offloading where requiredMinimal handball involved overallOccasional use of pallet truck and tail liftNationwide deliveries and collectionsEnsuring all deliveries are completed safely and on timeRequirements:

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (CAT C) licenceMinimum 1 year driving experience requiredMaximum 6 points for minor offences onlyValid CPC and Digi CardGood understanding of driver hours and regulationsReliable, professional and flexible approach to workBenefits (Once Permanent):
