HGV Class 1 Driver

Description

Apply today to work as an HGV Class 1 Driver for our client which deals with delivering and collecting to/from RDCs and fridge work.

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for our client based in Tilbury, Essex.

Consolidated rates GBP20.70 – GBP24.65 per hour.

Fixed shift patterns and Adhoc work available.

Your Time at Work

As an HGV 1 Driver your duties include:

– Nationwide deliveries and collections for many customers

– Trunking, store deliveries, or RDC runs (depending on the role)

– Conducting pre–trip and post–trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness

– Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements

– Following all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will ideally have:

– 6 months of HGV driving experience

– No more than 6 points

– Digi card and DCPC
