HGV Class 1 Driver

Job Summary:

Class 1 (C+E) driver required. Two years minimum experience preferred.

This job will be driving an artic walking floor or bulk tipper. There will be a opportunity to progress on to low loaders, vacuum tankers if you wanted.

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials

- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment

- Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

- Perform routine inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance or repair needs

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members

Qualifications:

- Valid Class 1 driver's licence

- Proven 2 years experience as a artic driver, preferably with Walking floor experience

- Excellent driving record with no accidents or violations

- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations

- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
