Description
As an HGV Class 1 or Class 2 Driver at Alsford, you'll play a key role in delivering building materials safely, efficiently, and professionally to our customers. You'll be the face of the company on the road and at customer sites, ensuring excellent service and maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate HGV Class 1 or 2 vehicles in line with legal and company standards
Deliver a variety of building materials to customer sites and branches
Ensure goods are loaded/unloaded securely and correctly
Complete delivery paperwork accurately and on time
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects as necessary
Provide a friendly, professional service to customers at all times
Work closely with the Transport and Yard teams to support operational efficiency
Requirements:
A valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence (C+E or C)
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: GBP38,000.00-GBP42,000.00 per year
