Ground Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Moat Lane, Solihull, B91 2LW

Hours: Monday – Friday, 37 hours per week

Standard shift: Monday to Thursday 07:30 – 15:30, Friday 07:30 – 15:00

Salary: 31,324 per annum, plus Veolia benefits

What you'll be doing;

Staff management (absence management, investigations, disciplinaries, performance)Manage and deliver on ground maintenance operations.Manage and coordinate, with SMBC servicesSupport health and wellbeing initiativesRepresent the company at local authority and resident meetingsDeliver employee inductions and maintain training recordsOversee and maintain vehicle and equipment complianceHelp manage transfer station and depot complianceConduct crew inspections and monitor contract work

What we're looking for;

Essential

Full UK driving licenceExperience with grounds maintenance equipment and machineryStrong interpersonal skillsKnowledge of environmental legislationExperience in disciplinary investigations and absence monitoringComputer literacyDesirable

Experience in grounds maintenance contracts.Horticultural qualification or equivalent practical experience (preferred)PA1 & PA6 Certification IOSH managing safety certification Accident investigation experience (advantageous)
