Freight Operator – Road Freight

We are seeking an experienced European Roadfreight Operations professional for a new and exciting role in Birmingham

Our client is an international freight forwarder and transport services provider.

As part of the continued growth and development they are looking for an experienced and driven individual to join the team.

Experience of handling export consignments to Europe is essential.

Daily duties:

Preparation of quotations to clients for export movements Planning & Costing freight movements Organising freight collections & deliveries Co–ordinating international freight movements Vehicle load planning Invoicing & query resolution Liaising with haulier and co–loaders This is a hands on role and will offer the successful person an excellent opportunity to work in many areas of the export process. Experience of load planning, costing is essential including understanding of loading metres and vehicle cargo capacities

An excellent salary of upto 35 p/a DOE is available plus superb progression and development opportunities and additionally bonus scheme
