Forklift Operator

Description

We are currently recruiting for a FLT driver on behalf of our fantastic client based in Tilbury Docks. This is working for an importer and supplier of paper, timber and other commodities.

Job Responsibilities:

Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently for loading and unloading timber sheets as well as other products occasionally. Accurately picking and transporting timber products to designated storage areas. Manual handling, including lifting, moving, and stacking goods securely. Conducting detailed quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods to ensure they meet required standards. Reporting any damaged goods or discrepancies promptly to supervisors. Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organisation, ensuring workspaces remain safe and accessible. Following health and safety guidelines rigorously to promote a secure working environment for all employees. Assisting with inventory management and stock control when required. Requirements:

Valid Counterbalance Forklift License Previous warehouse experience Shifts available – Monday to Friday –
