Forklift Driver

Description

New Resource Recruitment are currently recruiting Forklift Drivers (Reach & Counterbalance) on behalf of our client, a well–established and growing business based in Melksham. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced forklift drivers looking for ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent contract.

Key Responsibilities

Operating Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently

Loading and unloading deliveries

Moving stock within the warehouse and storage areas

Putting stock away into racking locations

Assisting with picking and general warehouse duties when required

Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any faults

Adhering to all health and safety procedures on site

Working both independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines

Requirements

Valid Reach and/or Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB / ITSSAR or equivalent)

Previous forklift driving experience is essential

Strong awareness of health and safety

Reliable, punctual, and a team player

Ability to work in a fast–paced warehouse environment

Good attention to detail and organisational skills

Shifts Available

Monday to Friday

Day and afternoon shifts available

Overtime opportunities may be available during busy periods
