North West 3-Month Rolling Contract Hybrid Working Available

A Local Authority in the North West is looking to appoint an experienced Food Safety Officer to join their Environmental Health team on an initial 3-month rolling contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.

This is an excellent opportunity for an officer seeking flexibility while working within a supportive and well-established local authority team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct food hygiene inspections in accordance with the Food Law Code of Practice.

* Carry out food premises interventions and revisit programmes.

* Provide advice and guidance to food business operators.

* Ensure compliance with relevant food safety legislation.

Requirements:

* Environmental Health Degree or equivalent qualification.

* EHORB Registration (or equivalent recognised qualification).

* Recent experience delivering Food Safety functions within a UK Local Authority.

* Competent and confident carrying out Category A-E food hygiene inspections.

* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle desirable.
