FLT Driver

Description

FLT Drivers wanted for long term temporary contracts in Wallsend. Must hold a valid FLT licence (c/b and/or reach) and be able to provide certification. We have roles available on a 2 shift and nightshift pattern.

14.97 per hour (2 shift)

17.17 per hour (nightshift)

38 hours per week

Responsibilities will be:

Ensuring products are loaded onto or unloaded from machines, trucks, or containers accurately and efficiently.

Operating and monitoring forklifts to move goods.

Handling and moving goods, ensuring they are properly secured during transport.

Maintaining a clean and organised work area around machines and loading areas.

Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.

Assisting with inventory counts and ensuring accurate stock levels.

Working with team members to complete tasks efficiently.

Skills and Experience:

Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Valid Forklift Truck Licence (C/B and/or Reach)

Experience using an FLT

Previous experience loading and unloading heavy goods and materials
