Astute's Renewable Energy team is partnering with a leading business who own and operate a portfolio of anaerobic digestion plants. We are looking to recruit a Feedstock Development Manager, ideally located in the Yorkshire area, to source sustainable materials for new and existing plants.

Responsibilities and duties of the Feedstock Development Manager role

Reporting to the Senior Feedstock Manager you will:

Procure crop and waste feedstocks for our biomethane plants in the Northeast of the UKDevelop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholdersNegotiate contracts and manage supply agreementsAnalyse market trends and identify new feedstock opportunitiesCollaborate with the feedstock team to optimize procurement strategiesEnsure compliance with quality standards and sustainability requirementsMonitor and report on feedstock inventory and supply chain performanceOther duties as required

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Supply Chain Management, or related fieldA full UK Driving Licence (essential)

The Feedstock Development Manager role would suit someone who is:

3+ years of experience in feedstock procurement or similar role in the renewable energy sectorStrong knowledge of agricultural and waste management industriesExcellent negotiation and relationship–building skillsAnalytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reportingAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong commercial acumen and problem–solving skillsFamiliarity with sustainability practices and renewable energy regulations
