Our client is looking for a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from the warehouse to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction through effective communication and efficient service.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a van to deliver goods to designated locations.Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and heavy lifting as required.Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered during transport.Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns.Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure roadworthiness.Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.Assist in the warehouse as needed, including inventory management and organisation of goods.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in commercial driving is preferred.Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience driving vans or lorries is advantageous.Ability to perform heavy lifting and handle physical demands of the job.Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.

Work Schedule

Tues to Friday each week

Guaranteed 30 hours per week, up to 40 hours with overtime and depending on the routes.

Tues - 8.30amWeds - 9.30amThurs - 8.30amFriday - 9.00am
