_HGV Category C and C+E drivers wanted _

HGV multi-drop, general haulage trampers and night-out drivers wanted, with a good working knowledge of the UK road network and an excellent safety record. ADR holders are also required.

Applicants must have full and current driver CPC qualification card, a flexible, polite and positive outlook & professional customer service skills.

Applicants for cat C roles should be familiar with electric pump truck & vehicle tail-lift use.

All drivers require an understanding of EDC technology, (training will be provided), must be compliant and confident with safe loading & strapping techniques, must keep accurate time records and complete daily vehicle safety checks.

A good working knowledge of UK road networks and a thorough understanding of drivers working time directive legislation are essential for this role.

Ideal candidates:

HGV category C or C+E licence (essential)

Working knowledge of UK road systems

multi drop driving experience (Cat C drivers)

Forklift licence (would be very useful)

Familiar with EDC technology (training will be provided)

Familiar with electric pump-truck and vehicle tail-lift (Cat C drivers)

Excellent safety record

ADR licence (would be very useful)

Summary

As a Heavy Goods Driver (Cat C / Cat C+E), you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of palletised goods across various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service.

This role requires a valid HGV Category C or C+E Licence, along with strong driving skills. Your professional driving knowledge and communication skills will be essential in navigating challenges on the road and maintaining our excellent reputation as a leading haulier. Responsibilities

Operate heavy goods vehicles with a HGV Category C+E or category C Licence, for multi drop, general haulage, tramping or nights out duties as appropriate.

Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods while adhering to traffic regulations.

Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients.

Conduct daily vehicle safety checks to ensure roadworthiness, reporting any vehicle defects promptly.

Communicate effectively with transport and warehouse staff to coordinate loading and unloading processes.

Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation via our EDC processes.
