HGV Class 2 Driver 16.00 – 21.75 per Hour

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. This is a varied role that combines driving duties with supporting engineers on site, making it ideal for drivers who enjoy being part of a team and working outdoors.

The Role

Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle between sites.Provide general support to engineers carrying out essential works.Regularly check on engineers working below ground level to ensure their safety and wellbeing.Assist with site set–up, maintenance and other reasonable duties as required.Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday.Occasional weekend work when required.Average working day of approximately 11 hours, depending on workload and site locations.

Pay & Benefits

16.00 – 21.75 per hourRegular hours with overtime opportunities.Varied role combining driving and site–based work.Supportive team environment.Ongoing work available.

Requirements

Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.Valid Driver CPC.Valid Digital Tachograph Card.Essential: Experience driving vehicle fitted with a 4–over–4 manual gearbox.Good communication skills and a positive attitude.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Willingness to support engineers and assist with site duties when required.
