Are you a reliable Class 2 (Category C) Driver looking for a fantastic opportunity with a well–established waste management company? We are currently recruiting Class 2 Dustcart Drivers to join our client's friendly and professional team based in Buntingford.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced and newly passed Class 2 drivers looking to gain valuable driving experience while enjoying a great work–life balance with early starts and early finishes.

The Role

As a Class 2 Dustcart Driver, you will be responsible for operating a refuse collection vehicle on planned routes throughout the local area. You will work as part of a 3–person crew, collecting household and commercial waste safely and efficiently while providing an essential service to the community.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) dustcart vehicle.Complete scheduled waste and recycling collection routes.Work closely with loaders to ensure collections are completed efficiently.Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.Adhere to all road transport legislation and health & safety procedures.Deliver excellent customer service while representing the company professionally.Ensure all collections are completed within agreed timescales. To be considered for this role, you will need:

A valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.A valid Digital Tachograph Card.A positive attitude and strong work ethic.Good communication and teamwork skills.To be physically fit, as the role involves manual handling and working outdoors in all weather conditions.Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to safe working practices.
