HGV Class 2 Driver – Night Shifts

Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

Salary: 36,519 per annum

Hours: 48 hours per week (5 shifts)

Start Times: Between 20:00 – 03:00

We are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for night shifts with a well–established and busy haulage company based in Cheltenham.

Newly qualified drivers are welcome – full training provided

The Role

As an HGV Class 2 Night Driver, you will be responsible for completing multi–drop deliveries across the UK, ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. This is a permanent opportunity with the potential to secure a long–term role.

Key Responsibilities

Driving a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle in line with UK driving laws and tachograph regulationsCompleting multi–drop deliveries to depots and customer sitesCarrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defectsLoading and unloading goods (some manual handling involved)Completing delivery paperwork and/or handheld system recordsProviding a professional level of customer serviceRequirements

Full UK Driving Licence with Category C (Class 2)Valid Driver CPCDigital Tachograph CardGood knowledge of drivers' hours and road transport regulationsReliable, punctual and professional attitudeComfortable working night shiftsPay & Benefits
