Description
Berry Recruitment are looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver in the Peterborough area.
Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 05:00 – 16:00
48 Hours a week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Wear correct PPEVehicle is legally compliantCheck systems, vehicles, equipment, tools and machinery before use – report defectsKnow your vehicleCarry correct licence/DCPC/Tacho cardUse a reversing assistant (when available)Correct vehicle position and safe vehicle loadingPrevent and report overweight vehiclesPersonal safety & that of the crew and people around themVehicle is cleanReport service, safety and environmental issuesStop the job if it's unsafe, report to your SupervisorComplete drivers debriefSKILLS and EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE
Effective Communication – FoundationTime Management – FoundationDriving a large/LGV vehiclesWaste industry desirableTeam working
