Class 1 Driver

Description

We are working with our client who are an established offshore business based in Newcastle in the search for a Class 1 Driver.

This is a yard based (Shunting job) on a permanent basis with no overnight/ long distance

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established company on a permanent basis with plenty of overtime available.

Responsibilities:

To undertake general local collections and deliveries. To communicate with the office to arrange future pick–ups and deliveries. To assist with loading and offloading of goods. To complete and maintain documentation relating to freight, collections and deliveries. To comply with all relevant driving legislation and agreed procedures to ensure a safe and legal work environment. To ensure company vehicles are kept clean and in good working order. To work in a safe manner; driving positive behaviour and leading by example with regard to the company s health, safety and environmental policies. To carry out any other duties not listed above as may reasonably be expected.

The Person:

FLT License advantageous Driving license entitlement of Class 1 Valid digital tachograph and up to date CPC card.
