Salary: 35,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday – No Weekends

Start Times: 03:00–07:00

The Best Connection are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a 7.5T Driver to join their team on a Temp to Perm basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and experienced driver looking for stable Monday–to–Friday work with the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

The Role:

As a 7.5T Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to construction sites within approximately a 50–mile radius of Andover.

Your duties will include:

Driving a 7.5T vehicle safely and responsiblyCompleting daily vehicle checksAssisting with loading the vehicle each morningLoading and unloading goods, including handballingDelivering goods safely and professionally to customersCompleting delivery paperwork accuratelyProviding excellent customer servicePlanning routes and ensuring deliveries are made on time

Requirements for this role:

Valid UK driving licence with C1 (7.5T) entitlement or abovePrevious 7.5T driving experience is preferredComfortable with handballing and manual handlingGood geographical knowledgeGood route–planning skillsExcellent customer service and communication skillsReliable, punctual and professional attitude
