7.5T Driver (Multidrop)

Description

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional 7.5T Driver to join our clients team based in Castleford. You will play a key role in ensuring timely and safe deliveries to their customers, while representing our company to a high standard.

The rate of pay is GBP30,(Apply online only) per annum.

This is a full–time role working Monday–Friday, and the hours of work are:

– 7am to 4:30pm

Your Time at Work

As a Multidrop Van Driver you will be responsible for making timely deliveries, maintaining high customer service standards, and ensuring the safety and condition of the vehicle. Key responsibilities include:

– Driving a 7.5–tonne vehicle to deliver goods across regional routes

– Loading and unloading goods safely

– Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and in full

– Completing delivery paperwork and using handheld scanners

– Performing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects

– Maintaining compliance with health & safety and driving regulations

– Providing excellent customer service on delivery

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will have the following skills:

– Valid UK Category C1 (7.5T) driving licence

– Driver CPC qualification and Digi Tacho card

– No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN convictions)

– Physically fit – some manual handling will be required

– Good communication and time management skills

– Previous 7.5T driving experience essential

– Knowledge of the local area
