Description

Gas Distribution Trainer

Are you an experienced gas industry professional looking to step into a rewarding training role? This is a fantastic opportunity to share your expertise and help develop the next generation of gas engineers within a high‑quality, supportive training environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Delivering engaging training sessions and assessments across the gas distribution product area

Collaborating with the Operational team to maintain and develop training materials, facilities, and products

Working closely with the Quality Assurance and Audit team supporting internal quality assurance (IQA)

Supporting sales and marketing colleagues by responding to customer enquiries and providing technical insightEssential Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience in low and medium‑pressure gas mains and service laying, or experience in pressure control and network maintenance

NCO2 Gas Main/Service Laying

Safe Control of Operations certification

Competence in PE (Polyethylene) welding techniquesDesirable

CITB Excavation Support for Timber Trenches & Shafts OR Utility Excavation Categories 1–5 (or equivalent)

Experience installing, maintaining, and inspecting trench support and shaft systems during live digs

Experience working in deep excavations (2m+)

NRSWA Supervisor qualification

Level 3 Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, AET, or equivalent)

Level 3 Assessor Qualification (CAVA or equivalent)About You
