Description
Role - BENDI/FLEXI Driver and Warehouse Operative £12.71 per hour 45hrs per week (6 month Fixed Term Contract - could become permanent) + Excellent Benefits

* 45 HOURS PER WEEK MONDAY-FRIDAY 7.00am - 4.00pm
* NO WEEKENDS!
* OPPORTUNITY TO PROGRESS FROM £12.71 TO £13.71 per hour based on skills development
* MUST HAVE BENDI or FLEXI LICENSE FOR FORK LIFT DRIVING
* INITIALLY 6 MONTH CONTRACT (COULD BECOME PERMANENT)
Our client is a leader in their field and due to continued growth, have a 6 month fixed term contract for an experienced Warehouse Operative with a BENDI/FLEXI LICENSE. The role could become permanent or extended dependent upon business performance. The role is varied and in a fast paced working environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Carry out all QA and Safety checks relevant to assigned work area and ensure completion of all warehouse and QA records legibly, accurately and in a timely manner
* Ensures that all plant and equipment is functioning efficiently and within the correct parameters, taking remedial action when appropriate. Escalates issues where necessary in accordance with the escalation procedure.
* Ensure correct despatch procedure for confirmed Sales Orders
* Ensure all goods are stacked correctly using appropriate FLEXI or BENDI fork lift equipment
* Ensures that all finished goods pallets are booked into the correct location and correctly allocated to the relevant order.
* Complete all shift and weekly tasks including paperwork, inspections and housekeeping in line with 5S, GMP and Lean Manufacturing standards.
* Ensure pallets are wrapped safely and securely.
