Description
Our industrial client is looking for an experienced Welder & Fabricator to join their workshop in Reading. Working at the facility in Woodley, you will weld and fabricate structural steel components. All candidates must possess valid eligibility credentials and have the right to work in the UK. If you are interested and ready for an immediate start, please apply today!
Key Duties:
- Perform MIG and TIG welding of structural carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
- Fabricate components by reading engineering drawings, measuring, and cutting profiles.
- Operate heavy workshop equipment including bandsaws, pillar drills, and grinders.
- Conduct weld strength tests and dimensional audits on finished fabrications.
Candidate Requirements:
- Coded Welder certification (e.g. BS EN ISO 9606-1) is highly preferred.
- At least 2 years of professional workshop welding and fabrication experience.
- Own weld mask, steel-toe boots, and standard hand fabrication tools.
- Right to work in the UK (verified via passport/share code).
