Stonemason (Salary: DOE)
Our client has a vacancy for an experienced banker Stonemason to join their team in the Peterborough area.
Working as a banker Stonemason you will be required to read and interpret workshop drawings, cut and shape stone to the usual industry standards, for a variety of projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll need good experience working as a banker Mason. You will be sharing a workshop with other Masons, and have access to your own banker, extraction and lifting hoist. You must provide your own essential tools, however if you require additional tools these can be provided.
You will join a team of skilled Stonemasons who will help, support and train you if required.
This role requires physical strength and the ability to work in noisy areas for extended periods of time.
The main body of works coming up include standard building components for plots (heads, cills, plinth, ashlar, string and band coursing, copings etc, gable sets etc.), as well as high end projects, such as large-scale commercial colleges, staircases, and finishing CNC works.
About the Role
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday job role based in our client’s premises. The hours are 7am to 4pm and overtime is readily available.
The Company offers 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays, free parking and opportunities to progress within the team.
