Labourer - Specialist Construction & Repair: Based on New Malden - potential projects across the UK (typically about 1-4 hours drive from New Malden).

Our projects frequently involve working within controlled containment areas to prevent the spread of dust and mould spores. Team members must be prepared to wear protective suits and masks (conditions may become warm) and adhere strictly to entry and exit protocols. Full compliance with these measures is mandatory.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Labourer to support our skilled tradespeople on-site. This role involves assisting with general building tasks, maintaining clean and organised workspaces, and following instructions carefully.

No formal qualifications are required, but some basic construction experience or practical skills are an advantage. More important is a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to follow health and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist multi-trade builders with day-to-day site tasks.

Help set up and dismantle containment areas (training provided).
Carry materials, load/unload tools, and keep work areas tidy.
Follow instructions accurately and complete tasks efficiently.
Wear PPE (mask, paper suit) when required – conditions may be warm.
Comply with strict safety and hygiene protocols.

Travel to various project sites across the UK (typically within 1–4 hours of London).

Stay overnight when required (accommodation provided for locations more than 1.5 hours from New

Requirements:

Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
Able to follow directions and work well in a team.
Comfortable working in protective clothing and confined or warm spaces.
Willing to travel and stay away from home as needed.
Some basic construction or labouring experience is helpful but not essential.
Must be eligible for CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) payment.
