Description
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Glazier to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and replacement of glass in a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a high level of precision, safety awareness, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately measure, cut, and fit glass to required specifications Install and replace glass in windows, doors, shopfronts, conservatories, and partitions Remove broken or damaged glass safely and efficiently Work with double glazing units, laminated glass, and toughened glass Seal and secure glass using putty, rubber seals, or glazing compounds Ensure all work complies with current health and safety regulations Load, transport, and unload materials safely to and from job sites Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good condition Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance on-site Requirements
Proven experience as a glazier or in a similar trade role Full UK driving licence (essential) Strong knowledge of glazing techniques and materials Ability to work at heights and handle heavy materials Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and hardworking Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and interpersonal skills Desirable Skills & Qualifications
Experience with UPVC, aluminium, and timber frames CSCS card or relevant construction certification Knowledge of health and safety procedures within the construction industry Experience in both domestic and commercial glazing Knowledge and experience install cat flap units
