Description
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Handyman to carry out general maintenance and repairs across our pub. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, proactive, and capable of dealing with a wide range of maintenance tasks to ensure the premises remain safe, functional, and well-presented at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out general maintenance and repairs across the pub (interior and exterior) Basic electrical work (e.g. changing light fittings, fault finding, replacing switches/sockets where qualified) Basic plumbing work (e.g. fixing leaks, replacing taps, unblocking drains) Painting and decorating to maintain a high standard of appearance Tiling and basic carpentry as required Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergencies Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve potential problems Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations Liaise with external contractors when specialist work is required Keep records of work completed and report any major issues
