Bricklayer - Immediate Start - Cardiff Bay, Cardiff

Description

Our construction client requires a skilled Bricklayer for an immediate start on a new-build residential site in Cardiff. Working at the Cardiff Bay development, you will lay bricks and blocks to a high quality finish in compliance with building regulations. Key Duties:

- Lay bricks, blocks, and stone on new build developments to exact lines and levels.

- Mix, apply, and spread mortar properly to joints according to standards.

- Set out brickwork lines, profiles, and structural masonry tasks.

- Work safely at heights from scaffold structures, maintaining strict safety zones.

Candidate Requirements:

- Valid CSCS Card (Blue Skilled Card) in Bricklaying.

- Own bricklaying tools including trowels, line pins, and levels.

- Minimum 2 years of active site bricklaying experience.

- Strong physical stamina and willingness to work in outdoor conditions.
