About Us
We’re a busy, independent garage in Forfar specialising in auto electrics, diagnostics, and general vehicle electrical repairs and installations. We’ve built a solid reputation for solving faults that others can’t and take pride in doing the job properly.
The Role
We’re looking for a capable Auto Electrician or Motor Mechanic with strong electrical knowledge. This role suits someone who enjoys fault finding and isn’t afraid to get stuck into both mechanical and electrical work.
What You’ll Be Doing
Electrical diagnostics and fault finding
Working with CAN bus systems
Wiring repairs, installs, and component replacement
Using diagnostic equipment to identify and fix issues
Working on a wide range of vehicles (cars and vans)
What We’re Looking For
Experience as a mechanic and/or auto electrician
Strong electrical and diagnostic skills
Ability to properly diagnose faults (not just swap parts)
Confident working independently
Reliable with a good work ethic
Bonus (but not essential)
Experience with ECU diagnostics, coding, or programming
Previous experience in a busy independent garage
