I’ve decided to offer my 1994 Toyota MR2 Rev 3 Turbo for sale due to finding another car

I’ve owned the car since March 2025 and, during that time, my focus has been on making it the best driving example I could rather than simply modifying it. In the last 12 months alone, I’ve spent around £5,000 bringing the car closer to the standard I wanted, with all of the money going into mechanical improvements, maintenance and addressing known issues.

The previous owner had the car for over 22 years. It was repaired whenever required, but routine maintenance wasn’t always kept on top of. Since buying it, I’ve worked through the areas that needed attention, resulting in a car that now drives exactly as it should.

The last MOT highlighted corrosion, which I immediately had repaired properly by a specialist rather than opting for a temporary fix. The work was completed to a high standard, and I have invoices and photos documenting the repairs.

The suspension has been transformed with a brand new set of MeisterR coilovers, followed by a professional geometry setup, and the difference is remarkable. It also sits on recently fitted staggered Inter Milano wheels wrapped in new Bridgestone Potenza tyres. Alongside a recent service, the car is mechanically excellent with no known faults and is ready to be enjoyed.

The car has covered 113,654 miles, has MOT until March 2027, has had just three UK owners and comes with an extensive history file dating back to its import in 1997. It retains a tasteful selection of period modifications including an HKS SSQV dump valve, Turbosmart manual boost controller and a 3-inch exhaust, while the private registration J15 RSX is included in the sale.

Cosmetically, I’d honestly describe it as a solid 7/10. The paint would benefit from some attention in places, and I’ve reflected that in the asking price. I’d rather be upfront about its condition than describe it as perfect.

Finding a genuine Rev 3 Turbo that has had the expensive mechanical work completed is becoming increasingly difficult. This is a car you can drive away and enjoy immediately, with the option to improve the cosmetics over time if you choose.
