I am selling a great condition Toyota IQ. This car has the incredibly frugal 1.0 cam chain driven petrol engine delivering 60mpg, with £20 road tax, low running costs and low insurance. Being a Toyota, it’s incredibly reliable, helped by having an extensive service history.

Engine and maintenance
The ultra-reliable 1.0L three cylinder petrol engine is an absolute gem; it’s been serviced regularly and features a timing chain, so no concerns over a cambelt. Likewise, clutch and 5 speed manual gearbox are in superb working order, with the cutch and slave cylinder having been replaced in April 2025 at 68,731 miles.
The car was last given a major service at 71,491 miles in July 2025 and has been serviced every year without fail; all documented in the service booklet and with receipts for all major work. The car has also just had a brand new battery.

Bodywork/Cosmetics
The paintwork still gleams and looks fantastic when clean and polished. It has age related marks as you would expect, a notable blemish being on the offside rear bumper corner but overall, the bodywork and paint is in good condition.
The interior is also in very good condition; the seats are free of rips or tears. The car benefits from keyless start, keyless go, folding electric mirrors, electric windows, rear parking sensors, isofix and numerous airbags. The car also has auto lights, auto wipers, ice cold air conditioning and Bluetooth connectivity and music streaming.

The IQ has a very smart layout being a 2+2. The rear seats are independent of one another, one or both rear seats can fold flat to the floor so the boot can be very large for the cars size OR the car can sit up to four! It’s a really clever design for a city car.

The alloy wheels were refurbished and powder coated black last year, I think they look great against the pearlescent white paint and are still absolutely immaculate. The tyres are also excellent with loads of tread all round.

Summary
Overall, it’s a lot of car for the money, superbly reliable, returns excellent mpg and with low insurance- it’s the perfect car for a new driver, a commuter or for running around town. For trouble free motoring, you can’t really do better than a cam chain driven Japanese Toyota.

Last year’s MOT had no advisories; however it will likely need front brake pads before the next MOT as they will likely be an advisory as they’re getting low.
It’s a perfect little city car with great service history and a long MOT.

Car comes with TWO working key fobs, service booklet, service receipts and the original service folder.

The car’s MOT runs out in June 2026 and had no advisories. The car is also HPI clear.
