Salary: £14 per hour

Hours: Part-time, 16 hours per week (with potential for more as demand increases)

Start Date: Ending of October

We are an up-and-coming haute couture bridal and evening wear brand seeking a creative and skilled individual to join our team. As part of our dynamic and growing brand, you will play a crucial role in translating the designer’s ideas and sketches into beautiful toile samples for our collections. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about garment construction and luxury fashion.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for turning the designer’s vision into tangible samples, including drafting patterns, draping on mannequins, and advising on embroidery and print placements. You will also have the chance to supervise in-house machinists during the sampling process, ensuring that every detail is perfected. The role is flexible, with two working days per week, allowing you to choose what works best for you.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Extensive knowledge of working with complex bridal and evening wear designs

• Experience in pattern drafting and draping on mannequins

• Ability to pad mannequins to specific sizes and body shapes

• Capable of supervising in-house machinists or creating toiles independently

• Creative, with an ability to develop original shapes and push the boundaries of traditional garment construction

• Strong garment construction skills with a keen eye for detail and precision

• Minimum of 3 years of professional pattern cutting experience (no formal qualifications required)

If you have the expertise and passion to take creative designs to the next level, we would love to hear from you!

Apply today to join our growing team and contribute to the exciting future of our bridal and evening wear brand.
