Vintage Ultimate Equipment Venture 220 2-person camping tent, Made in England during the late 1970s to early 1980s. Ultimate Equipment earned an excellent reputation for producing exceptionally durable, well-built camping and backpacking equipment, and this classic Venture 220 is a great example of that quality.

The tent has never been used and has been stored for many years. The tent itself is in excellent condition, including the inner tent, outer flysheet, poles and pegs. The original outer storage bag is the only part showing signs of age and storage.

Condition
-Overall, this is in excellent vintage condition considering its age.
-Inner tent: Clean, crisp and appears virtually unused.
-Poles: Original and complete, fitting together as they should.
-Storage bags: Original and included.

Outer bag: Shows age-related signs from long-term storage, which is common with vintage tents of this era.

As with many vintage tents that have been stored for decades, the original waterproof coating may have developed the typical age-related characteristics associated with older polyurethane coatings, such as a storage odour. I've left the tent in its original condition rather than attempting to clean or re-proof it.
