StellaLyra Dual Alt-Az Mount and Tripod with counter - weights (Brand New)

Description

This mount is a very robust, strong and portable that can hold two telescopes in excess of 10kg each. I have added an ADM twin lock saddle to provide extra hold and to reduce any flex in the tube of long refractors. The original saddle is available in the sale with its own screws if you wanted to remove the ADM. Both axes have very smooth, precise motion controls giving excellent control when tracking, much improved than similar mounts of this type (I had one before). There is no movement at all with vibration to spoil your views, even in a slight wind.
I had my 150 mm Refractor up on the mount with a focal length of 1200mm f8 over 12.5kg and it worked fine. I would say even my old 8" Reflector works well too. To buy today at the current price of all items, the ADM saddle and extra counter - weights, would cost shy of £600. All parts and the mount are brand new, no rust, chipped paint and all in first class working order. My reason for sale is that I have purchased a much larger mount for a new project and no longer require this mount and tripod.
