Year 3/4 Teacher - Preston - September 2026

Veritas Education are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' Primary School (with 'Outstanding' features) in Preston, who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3/4 teacher to join their team from September 2026.

Role Overview

Position: Year 3/4 Teacher (KS2)

Location: Preston

Start Date: September 2026

Contract: Full-time

Suitable for: ECTs, NQTs, and experienced teachers

Pay: £140 - £240 per day (depending on pay scale and AWR)

The school has a dedicated and supportive Senior Leadership Team (SLT) who are committed to staff development. They provide access to both internal CPD opportunities and external training to ensure all staff have the tools they need to succeed.

The Role

The successful candidate will teach a mixed Year 3/4 class with varying abilities, requiring effective differentiation and strong classroom practice to support all learners.

The school is looking for a teacher who:

Delivers engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons

Has strong behaviour management skills

Can create a positive and productive classroom environment

Is confident in assessing and tracking pupil progress

Can effectively support pupils working at different levelsThe school encourages interactive teaching approaches that promote collaboration and active learning.

Please note: All pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. Opportunities are available for temporary, permanent, and ad-hoc supply work.
