Salary: £14.25 - £15 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working on behalf of a welcoming private day nursery in Portishead. The setting provides a warm and nurturing environment, focusing on creating engaging indoor and outdoor learning spaces where children feel safe, supported and encouraged to explore.

The nursery is looking to take on an unqualified Nursery Practitioner on a part-time, ad-hoc basis with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children across the early years age range, assisting with daily routines, activities and ensuring a safe and stimulating environment at all times.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 2 qualification desirable but not essential

• Experience working with children in an early years setting

• Knowledge of the EYFS framework

• A positive, ‘can-do’ attitude

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Flexibility to work ad-hoc shifts
