Prospero Teaching are currently looking for SEN Tutors to provide 1:1 support to a young people in the London Borough of Southwark.

The Opportunity

Prospero Teaching are partnered with Local Councils and SEND teams throughout the UK. We provide educational support to individuals who are currently out of mainstream education, those seeking additional support, and individuals with SEND.

We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced Tutors to provide support to primary aged SEN pupils who are not currently accessing mainstream education.

Due to the nature of the students we provide support to, applicants must have a background and strong understanding of SEN.

Position Details:

Location: Southwark, London

Position: Primary SEN Tutor

Hours: 10 hours per week

Timetable: 5 days per week, 2 hours per day

Start date: ASAP

Duration: ongoing

Experience, Training and Qualifications:

QTS or equivalent

Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils

UK classroom teaching experience

Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box

To be eligible for this role, the potential 1:1 Primary SEN Tutor must:

Hold the right to work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional child–related references.
