Description

Staff Match are recruiting for a hands–on Third In Charge to join a friendly nursery in Tooting, Greater London. If you have good team building skills and a passion for early years and excellent knowledge of EYFS curriculum, we want to hear from you.

Person Specification:

NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent

Experience of leading and motivating teams

Knowledge of EYFS Curriculum

Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)

Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)

Minimum 1–year experience in a similar role

Some of the Third In Charge responsibilities will include:

To work alongside the Nursery and Deputy Manager and maintain a safe a high standard of practice in accordance with the nurseries principles, policies and procedures.To deploy staff effectively to ensure the required standards are maintainedTo ensure all staff understand and comply with all nursery policy and proceduresTo lead the team and support in EYFS planning and ensure children s development records are maintainedTo carry our regular staff supervisions and coordinate staff meetingsTo support the Deputy Manager in developing a staff team that delivers quality care and education to young childrenTo promote diversity and equal opportunityTo work in partnership with parents forming caring and trusting relationshipsTo ensure professionalism and confidentiality at all times Benefits:
