Wandsworth | Full Time | Up to £33,280 per year or up to £16 per hour

We are recruiting a Third in Charge for a busy, well-established nursery in Wandsworth. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced childcare professional who wants to support the smooth day-to-day running of a nursery while making a real difference in children’s lives.

What you’ll be doing:

Create an environment that supports the individual needs of all children

Maintain systems to monitor, evaluate, and improve the quality of childcare practices

Communicate effectively with children, staff, parents, and carers

Build positive and open relationships with your team

Ensure nursery practices meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

Support staff by agreeing and reviewing individual targets

Take on playroom and additional management responsibilities as required

Help keep costs in line with agreed budgets.Level 3 in Childcare or above (essential)

Experience in a leadership or senior practitioner role in an early years setting

Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills

Passionate about providing high-quality care and education for young children
