Would you like to join an agency that values your development and supports your career?

TeacherActive is looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in specialist SEND schools across Rotherham. We work with settings that support learners from EYFS through to Post-16, with a wide range of needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, PMLD, and more.

This particular provision is a specialist post-14 campus for young people aged 14 to 19 with SEND. It was developed to meet the increasing need for SEND places in the local area and serves as an extension of wider specialist provision in the borough. The campus is focused on preparing students for life beyond school by delivering a curriculum that emphasises:

Work-based learning

Independent life skills

Confident with behaviour management strategies

Knowledgeable about safeguarding and child protection guidelines

Experienced in supporting young people on a 1:1 and small group basis

In return, a successful SEND Teaching Assistant will enjoy:

Access to a fantastic rewards scheme T&Cs apply

We are recruiting for day-to-day, short-term, and long-term placements, offering you flexibility and the opportunity to gain valuable experience in this unique specialist post-14 setting.

All of our supply staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you’re paying the right level of Tax and National Insurance, with no hidden admin charges.
