Pay: £92 - £120 per day, depending on experience

A welcoming primary school in Brentwood is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join its team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced TA who wants to become part of a school community and build strong relationships with both pupils and staff.

The initial contract will run for the full academic year, with the possibility of extending or moving into a permanent position at the end. You'll work closely with teachers to help pupils engage with their learning, overcome challenges and develop confidence in the classroom.

What You'll Be Getting Involved With

Supporting pupils during lessons and classroom activities

Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning

Helping children develop confidence, independence and positive learning habits

Providing additional encouragement to pupils who need extra support

Assisting teachers with resources, interventions and classroom preparation

Helping maintain a calm, positive and productive classroom

Building trusting relationships with pupils and encouraging their progress
