Location: Leicester

Salary: £85 - £100 per day (dependent on experience)

Contract: Full-time

Start Date: September 2026

Clarence Recruitment is working with a welcoming secondary school in Leicester to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant for the new academic year starting September 2026.

This role involves supporting teachers in the classroom, working with small groups or individual students, and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting student progress and wellbeing across a range of subjects.

The school offers a supportive team environment and a strong commitment to staff development.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

* Have previous experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)

* Be patient, supportive, and adaptable

* Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Be confident supporting students with a range of abilities and needs

* Be proactive and able to take initiative in the classroom

* Have a passion for education and supporting student development

* Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS check
