Salary: £85 - £95 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Primary School in Mountain Ash to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant. The school provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to thrive and where staff work collaboratively to deliver the best possible outcomes for pupils.

The school is looking to appoint a strong and experienced Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis. The successful Teaching Assistant will provide dedicated 1:1 support within the Foundation Phase, working closely with the class teacher to support learning, encourage engagement and promote the child's confidence and independence throughout the school day.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a UK primary school

• Experience providing effective 1:1 support to children in the Foundation Phase

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• A patient, caring and proactive approach to supporting pupils

• The ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team

• A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
