Teaching Assistant - Primary Schools - South East London

Primary Schools across South East London are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP. This Teaching Assistant role offers a mix of classroom support and 1:1 SEND support opportunities.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. The successful Teaching Assistant will be confident supporting children with additional needs, including ASD and behavioural challenges, while also assisting with general classroom duties.

Schools are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is proactive, reliable, and able to build strong relationships with pupils to support both learning and behaviour.

Teaching Assistant Role

Supporting pupils in class as a Teaching Assistant

Working 1:1 and in small groups as a Teaching Assistant

Supporting children with SEND needs as a Teaching Assistant

Assisting teachers with lesson delivery as a Teaching Assistant

Promoting positive behaviour and engagement as a Teaching Assistant

Helping maintain a structured learning environment as a Teaching Assistant

This Teaching Assistant role offers a great opportunity to secure immediate work, with the potential to move into a long-term Teaching Assistant position.

Applicants must have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through us.
