1:1 Primary Teaching Assistant - BL1

Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester

Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

About the Role

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a caring and motivated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil within a welcoming primary school in Bolton (BL1). This full-time, term-time role provides an excellent opportunity to work closely with a child who requires additional support to thrive in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with additional learning needs.

* Support the implementation of education health care plans (EHCP's).

* Encourage positive behaviour and build the pupil's confidence and independence.

* Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor progress.

* Support the pupil during transitions, break times, and classroom activities.

Ideal Candidate

* Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or degree educated).

* Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable.

* Strong communication and teamwork skills.

* Patient, nurturing, and proactive approach to supporting learning.

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
