The Supply register is proud to be working in partnership with Prospere Trust Schools, We are looking for dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching assistants for Pear Tree Specialist School to join their team from April 2026.
Pear Tree is a highly regarded specialist provision supporting children and young people with complex learning difficulties, autism, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. School is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every pupil can thrive.
The Role
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis
Assisting with learning, behaviour regulation, and emotional wellbeing
Working closely with teachers and the wider multidisciplinary team
Helping to implement individual education and behaviour support plans
Promoting positive relationships and engagement in learning
The Ideal Candidate
Experience working with SEN and/or SEMH pupils (school or alternative provision experience desirable)
A calm, patient, and resilient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
Relevant qualifications or training are desirable xjnqpsq but not essential
