Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Location: Brookthorpe Hall School, Gloucester, GL4 0UN

Hours: 40 per week Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm

Salary: GBP23,638.00 per annum (not pro rata)

Contract: Permanent Term Time Only

Start: March 2026

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be at the heart of everything we do. You'll work closely with teachers and therapists to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences that build confidence, curiosity, and independence in every pupil.

What you'll be doing:

Supporting pupils with complex needs to achieve their learning and personal goalsHelping to plan and deliver engaging, practical lessons that promote active learningProviding emotional and physical support to help pupils feel safe, valued, and understoodEncouraging independence, self-confidence, and positive social interactionsAssisting with outdoor learning, enrichment opportunities, and off-site tripsCollaborating with teachers, therapists, and colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality supportGrowing your own skills through regular training and professional developmentWho we're looking for:
