Description
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming SEN school in Walsall. This is a full-time role starting February 2026, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with diverse SEN needs
* Assist teachers in delivering engaging, accessible, and differentiated lessons
* Adapt resources and strategies to meet individual learning and behavioural needs
* Promote independence, confidence, and positive engagement in learning
* Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure consistent, high-quality support
The Ideal Candidate
* Are graduates or soon-to-be graduates (all degree disciplines considered)
* Have experience supporting children or young people with SEN (desirable, but not essential as training is provided)
* Are patient, resilient, and compassionate, with a strong commitment to inclusive education
* Are proactive team players with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is previous experience working in a school setting.
