Teaching Assistant

Tradewind recruitment are currently seeking dedicated and experienced 1:1 Learning Support Assistants to work across primary schools in South Liverpool.

This role involves providing tailored, one-to-one support for pupils with additional learning needs, helping them to access the curriculum, develop confidence, and reach their full potential in a supportive school environment.

You will need:

Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting

Hold a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent)

Have experience supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH, or additional learning needs

Be patient, nurturing, and committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

Be able to work effectively as part of a classroom team while supporting individual learning plans

Key responsibilities include:

Providing 1:1 support in and out of the classroom

Supporting learning, behaviour, and emotional development

Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO

Monitoring xjnqpsq progress and contributing to reviews and reports
